The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY shared this video of one of their Amur tiger cubs trying to show off to mom "Zeya" just how fierce he is. After a while of watching mom indulge in these shenanigans, the cub's twin sister decided it was time to come to the defense. Behaviors like this are pretty cute to watch, but they also have practical purposes, allowing cubs to practice pouncing, swatting, and chasing skills that they will need later in life, either to secure prey or to defend territories.
